"First Light"

. . . to use a term from astronomy; and one might hope that some light would be shed from time to time. But at the moment, it's late, and I don't seem anything especially cogent or witty to offer. Well, actually there was, or is, an earlier blog, started soon after I booted up my first computer, perhaps seven years ago. It may still be lurking somewhere in the Online shadows; who knows . . .?!
